Hi, Can I use an existing 15mm cold water mains feed to supply the bath or is a gravity feed prefered, are there any disadvantages and in my gravity fed system can I use 15mm hot supply or does it have to be 22mm

15 mm cold feed off the mains is fine for the bath as long as you are not planning on putting a mixer tap/ shower on it.
Gravity hot piping is better in 22 as it is low pressure and will take a lot longer to fill in 15 mm

Talking of mixers, why do some taps have such high operating pressure requirements i.e 1bar, 2 bar etc.
