I am going to need to re-route my mains water supply from entering into the bathroom at the rear of my 60's built bungalow, into the kitchen at the side. I seem to remember that building regs dictate the main has to be a minimum of 750mm below ground for frost protection reasons. Now as the base of my foundations are only approx 500mm below ground level, I assume the main has to pass under the foundations before entering the house. Is this correct? If so, will the main need to pass through anything structural?
What part of the regs is / should this be covered in, as I can't find it!
Thanks!
