major boob with Bristan Shower please please help me :)

Hi Guys
I have a Bristan Hydropower 201 T, my sister turned the on off control all the around and it came off in her hand
I have been following the New Team PDF on how to put it back together but there is a small red part which i have no idea where it goes, i have tried lots of different things but cannot get the shower on
please please help if you can, i have attached 2 pics on of all the parts i need to put back together and small red part that has controlled my night and will give me nightmares lol
