Hi there, I used to know an excellent joiner who made stunning windows and doors using a router table, morticer and a few clamps.
I have irregular size windows and am tempted by the idea of trying my own cottage (with ovolo bar) style casements. I have the above machinery. And a respectable diy level of carpentry.
Does anyone know of books/websites dealing with making casements with a router from the measuring stage to the finishing stage?
I probably won't do it as I can't assume that my windows would be anywhere near to a pro's standard, but having bought premdor windows I can't be too far of their 'knocked together' looking standard with time, care and research.....I hope!
Thanks in advance for any answers
