Make this area useable for tables and chairs

Hi

Area is 50m2. Currently gravel, very uneven. Want to make it flat(ish) so can set out table and chairs for garden party. Don't want to spend too much money.

Can you help me with ideas please.

Rake the gravel level.

if its temporary then level whats there and hire some ground protection matting for the day.

If its for more than one occasion then remove the gravel to one side and level the earth underneath. Then add TYPE 1 MOT and mix it with the gravel and compact.
