Screwfix are doing the above for £80 at the moment. I know makita is good stuff so I am sorely tempted.

Anybody use their cordless drills?

It seems this site is not giving us access to 10% off anymore though!

i bought this same drill over christmas and have used it for many hours and still hasnt let me down i highly recomend you buy it.

Very good drill, I have the 8390 which is the one below the 8391. Same drill but just less fancy looking. 3 batteries are good too even if they are only 1.3Ah.

I like the Hitachi ones they're doing for £90 with 3 batteries & a torch, been using one for bout 12 months now, very good

You can't go wrong with a Makita:cool:

I have two 12v and one 18v plus a small 7.2v impact driver and have had no problems with any of them.

Makita have replced their Ni-Cad range with the newer Lithium Ion stuff, lots of bargains to be had.

I have a 9.6V Makita drill from 1988 that is still going strong, good gear.
