makita 9.6 volt (old style) drill ..chuck question

makita 9.6 volt (old style long handle drill ..long battery)..chuck question

Ive picked up from a car boot ..one of these, its mint..i already have a couple of them with the batteries etc

This ones dead ..so i need to pull it apart ..probably a solder joint fault..... hopefully .

Anyway ...i need to get the twist lock chuck off .in order to split it ...so i see that it is held on by a screw inside the chuck ..is this right hand or left hand thread .

any other tips appreciated .

Usually a left hand thread on chuck screws.
