And before you say, you don’t use much apps, I’m sure you use WhatsApp or the other common, similar, apps that require more processing power, and have a much better degree of being targeted by the developers to end support for older phones.

they are not sure what to do with it, they don't know how to count it. generally their maths skills are shockingly bad, have you witnessed it? if not you should keep your eye open for it. it is scary how retarded the upcoming generations are (not derogatorily, i mean literally). their phone does everything for them so all they need to do is ask google/alexa/siri.

For most of what I use my phone for, for the core functionality I need, I could get by with a device running Nokia Series 30. Some later functionality I would miss, and lack of it would be a nuisance, but the only real showstopper would be the shutdown of 2G or 3G network support.

according to Pew Research Centre there are an estimated 800,000 to 1.2 million illegal immigrants living in uk, and according to the home office "last year, 7,130 people were arrested on suspicion of working illegally". that is just suspicion, not actual convictions.
so the goal is to take 2.75 million people out of work (of course some of those are retired) in order to stop at least 7,130 people from working illegally, but at the very highest extreme, 1.2 million, assuming every illegal immigrant is working. 1.2 million is of course extreme and nowhere near the number that will actually be working.

I checked Goole and android 13 is recommended for the face scan app with 8gb ram. So any phone 2, 3 years old will struggle and 8 GB ram you are talking a £200 phone
