I have just renovated an old mangle but think it is too good to leave outside and would like to use it as shelving in the living room
But the weight worries me. It is caste iron and to make it worse the rollers are filled with concrete !

The house is a small 1900s with original floorboards and I would like to keep it in the downstars front room in front of the window.

Would that be safe ?

Thanks

Na, stick it in the scullery for the Mrs to use, think of the electricity you will save!;)

Most 1900 houses would have had a piano in one room and they ain't light(y)
