Exactly, thats why I was surprised when a friend told me he had fitted his against the wall.

As he is an HVAC lecturer with a PhD I just listened as I had already told him about several other faults with his installation. But I did offer to give him a copy of the tear off application notes!

Sometimes its better to let someone read it themselves rather than just telling them!
