ft100 copper /copper braid white maplin code xs17t is this good/bad ?

Need a distribution amplifier & cable to 5 rooms any recomendations for

cable and amplifier ?


Using masterplug 4 way vhf/uhf amplifier model sb4-mp , now giving thick

black horizontal bands and 'rolling ' picture * easy to repair and keep as

a spare? *

This is much better quality (PF100) £32.31 for 100m

Standard sat cable (like the maplin stuff) is under £20 for 100m at TLC.

I dissagree with that.

Maplin are not a "trade shop", TLC is

THAT is the difference.

Joe public won't want 100m of cable, maplin will sell it buy the M, TLC wont (not for something like that, and on the net)
to buy in small quantities obviously you pay more

tlc do sell by the meter and it seems they are selling better quality cable by the meter for much the same price maplin want for the cheap stuff.

and even TLC isn't exactly a cheap place to buy (at least if you are paying list price)

TLC also have a fairly steep small order charge which should be borne in mind.

rapid seem to be a good source if you are prepared to buy by the reel and don't have any trade accounts with anyone.
