Marble Tiles

Just bought some marble tiles and the assistant said to use white adhesive to lay them . Something to do with them absorbing the light.

Is he pulling my leg or should I use white adhesive instead of grey?

There's plenty of information out there if you look Bahco. I didn't go into any detail because I didn't think it real necessary. If your marble tiles are light coloured, you need to be using a white adhesive. If you were to use a grey adhesive, there's a chance that you would see dark patches through the tiles because marble is marginally transluscent.

Just been to take the tiles back as they didn't match with the wall as well as I had hoped!

Back to the drawing board.
