Marley monarch tiles

Hi my roof is 23 years old and and leaking after a storm the insurance won’t pay out as they say the tiles weren’t fit for the job Marley won’t pay out or help as they say the tiles ate cracked due to people walking on the roof ? We’ve had the roof repaired a couple of times out of our own pocket but are now looking to see if there have been any successful cases against Marley,as we are considering taking this further
the tiles are supposed to be guaranteed 60 year so surly they should help in some way
has anyone had a similar experience any help would be appreciated

Why were your tiles not fit for the job? Was a reason given such as wrong application or type of tile?

The main getouts for slate/tile manufacturers is roof pitch outside their specs, gauge wrong, inadequate support from substructure (skinny or failed battens and rafters), inadequate weathering. Which one are your insurers going with?

Wouldn't go anywhere near those tiles, unless you have a decent pitch.

Marley didn't walk on them ..they are fragile and to be fitted with care
