Hi I need a 50 gallon coffin tank in a loft but can't fit it in.
I'm thinking of putting 2 x 25 gallon header tanks in and marrying them together. Anything to look out for I've never done it before?
Thanks in advance

Cold mains to one.

Draw off on the other.
Link the tanks more than once with 28mm tube.

If you have a pump it is worth linking with 42mm pipe

yes, the important thing is to have the fill valve in one, and the outlet in the other, then there will be a constant flow of fresh water.

If both fill and outlet are in the same tank, there is a tendency for the other to go stagnant.

Be sure to add lids to keep out dirt and drowned wildlife, and insulating jackets, which keep the water cold in summer to prevent bacterial growth.

That's great advice, thanks very much.
Where abouts on the header tanks do I link them together?
Bottom or middle?

Just take care with your measuring.....plastic tanks are easily stressed by outlets not in line.
I used 22mm plumbers sticks (corrugated copper tube, and flexible) on the last one I did.
Wonder if you can still get them?
John :)
