Masonary Paint spilt....please help!!

Can anyone please advise me of the best way in which to remove unwanted masonary paint from brickwork?

If it has not been drying too long, then soapy water & a stiff brush, if it has gone off then maybe a pressure washer or failing that a wire brush.
