Years ago I bought masonry paint brushes that were similar in shape to the brushes you get with a dust pan and brush. I found these to be comfortable and effective when painting large areas (my house) of roughstone and pebble dash. It's that time again and unfortunately i cannot locate any source for these brushes. Does anyone know where I can buy such a brush?

The brushes you are on about, I think, is whats called a Block Brush.
