Master / Slave dimmer switches

I would to understand clearly how this product works.

Can the light be dimmed and turn on/off from both Master and Slave?

For example, can I dimmed down the light to 50% from one switch, turn it off from another and turn on again for a third one?

On the above example, when I turn on the from the third switch, will the lamp light to the 50% of the power?
