I have had a look at the other posting and could not find any similar postings which cover my specific questions below.
Question 1
I was talking to an individual recently and he told me I was wrong to paint my ceiling with a silk finish and that they should be Matt...is this true....I have always for years painted my ceiling white silk.
Question 2
He also said to me that he adds water to his Matt paint, I was told it made the rollering easier.....concentrated matt emulsion straight from the pot was hard work when rollering all day!!......I argued that ...would it not make the paint less opaque diluting it? What's the truth?
Question 3
Is there a rule of thumb wether you use matt, silk or satin?
Any other relatied comments would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any answers to the above.
