Material for our new patio

Hey everybody,

we are planning to build a new patio after the "renovation" of the backyard is finished. I am not experienced with DIY, which material is suitable etc...
What material (i.e. wood / (interlock) paver) can you recommend and how would you clean it? We want to think about the cleaning in advance

Depending on your budget forinstance using granite stone setts really dont need cleaning...

What do you like the look of? What can you afford?
But as a general rule a pressire washer will deal with most external paving.
