Just waded through the full judgement. Quite interesting reading. Trying to tell myself I don't care, but blow me there are some interesting facts. I'm not a gossip but........................ :rolleyes:

Him - Worth a mint, lives in a small cottage, seems fair minded, but has powerful lawyers, still grieving for his first wife, could of done a lot worse to Mills but didn't. He should of seen her coming!!

Her - untruthful, Demanding, Drama Queen, Moneygrabbing, Bulls**tter, Arrogant, gives all her earnings to charity!!!!!. Got £110 grand for dancing in America.

I have to say that the Judge seems to have read between the lines, but no wonder she didn't want it released.

She wanted 100m.

Apparantley one of the reasons was £600,000 a year for charitable donations. £500,000 of this goes on travel.

She also needs £30,000 a year for horses.

On leaving the court yesterday Sir Paul was asked by a reporter if he would ever go down on one knee again. He replied "I doubt it very much and by the way her name is Heather"

The wife is a strong willed and determined personality. She has shown great fortitude in the face of, and overcoming, her disability. I refer to the loss of her left leg below the knee.

I like the way he added the bit about her leg so that anyone wouldn't think her disability was that she's a f**kin' nutcase.
 
Part of her reported demands was for £39,000 a year for wine.

Surely with a 39 grand wine bill she is not a fit person to be bringing up a child!
 
But that only buys 39 decent bottles of plonk...

The reality is that she has relaunched Maccas career. He won't lose over it.
 
Couldn't be Arsed to wade through the Judgement, but Just how the settlements are calculated remains a mystery to me, but £24M seems to me to be an outrageous amount for doing nothing and not contributing anything positive to the McCarteny fortune.
How about this for a formula for any divorce settlement but lets take McCarteneys as an example.
Fortune before Pornoccio turned up say £800M
Interest on that fortune for the 4 Year marriage at say 5% pa = £160M
Therefore fortune without Pornoccio's input would be £960M
Now what is the fortune worth now with Pornoccio's input, say £980M.
Therefore she has helped contribute £20M to the estate, so she is entitled to only 50% of this ie £10M.
Or more realistically, the Estate will be only really be worth say £900M 'cos the cow has spent like there is no tomorrow for 4 years, so as the estate is now worth £60M less than it would have been if Pornoccio had not been around, then Pornoccio should give Paul McCarteny £30M, as her influence has caused the estate to reduce in value over the 4 years. But for arguments sake, lets say they spent the £60 reduction in the estate value together so Pornoccio should be happy with the good time she has had and get F*** All.
Now wouldn't that be Fair to all?

joe, i know exactly where you think you were going with this "provocative" statement, but think again.

Maccas career is already stellar.:cool:

he does not need a launch at all. :rolleyes: :LOL:

he can make money while he sleeps. royalties, interest payments, being alive.

you name it, Paul Mc Cartney is a cash cow, like it or not.
 
Not at all. He is now far more famous than he was before all this kicked off. As a guitar player I've even started playing 'blackbird' again (after about 30 years.) This thing has done him no harm. Besides, when he gets down to his last 50 million - I'll start feeling sorry for him. Musically he's done nothing since the Beatles.

thats like saying, "he had several million pounds before and now he's richer because he has several million pounds - and 10p.

P.M. is only minutely more famous than he was before. :rolleyes:
