hi,

Having all new skirting and architrave fitted to my property.. was planning to go with MDF everywhere but not sure about architrave in the bathroom?? (There is no skirting at all) - might it warp/expand??

I want to use only water based paints on the house... so this includes water based primer, and water based satinwood... I'm concerned the architrave won't be 'sealed' enough for the bathroom..

Should I use oil based paint? Should I used a proper wood moulding? What about just ensuring the MDF architrave/skirting is v. Well primed??

Advice welcome, don't want warped mouldings now ;)

Cheers!
