Hi,
I need to install a run of MDPE from inside to outside up to the water meter running under a suspended timber floor which will eventually replace a piece of lead pipe.
I understand it needs to be a minimum of 750mm below the ground level and I'm looking for advice on insulation and protection.
The ground under the timber floor is rough soil with some building debris (rubble, odd shard of glass, flint etc) so I'm looking for recommendations for protection and insulation. As the pipe has to be partially buried at the point at which it passes through the outer wall in order to achieve the 750mm depth, I'm looking for a ducting and insulation. Can anyone recommend something they've used before? Is the insulation and ducting purchased separately or together?
As the ground is full of debris, it would be necessary to continue the pipe to its final destination in the ducting / insulation as this will also provide mechanical protection from the ground too.
Any ideas of ducting and insulation would be appreciated.
Thanks
