Hi

I am look towards replacing lead mains with mdpe that will run under a suspended timber floor. I am familiar with regs regarding ducting and insulation where pipe enters property.

The nearest practical place for the interior stop cock is 8 meters away from front of the property.

Am I correct in assuming that I will not need ducting all the way from the front of the property for 8m to stop cock?

Do I lay the new mdpe pipe in insulation on the sub-floor, or clip it under the joists?

Thanks

In insulation - " clipped" to the underside of the joists with a bit of old electrical cable in a U shape , nailed to the side of the joists ;)
