I'm looking for a bit of advice. I've currently got a rad off the wall for some major plastering. Its very old and manky looking, seems a few people have tried painting it to match the walls using emulsion. It hasn't worked.
Anyway, I'd like to do a straight swap for another radiator. I'd like it to fit into the pipework so I don;t have to drain down the system (or get a plumber in to do it). The problem is knowing which size to go for. The current rad is about 1250 mm long. I can;t find anybody who does rads in this size.
I'm sure this must be a standard size rad but how are the measurements taken?
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob.
