Afternoon all
I have a 1960s concrete sectional garage with an asbestos roof consisting of corrugated sheets. I intend to have the roof replaced as soon as I can afford it. At some point in the past a previous occupier has replaced one of the asbestos sheets with a section of clear corrugated plastic, presumably due to breakage. For reasons of security I’d like to replace that plastic sheet with a galvanised alternative till I can afford to have the whole roof done, and my question is, do these sheets come in a standard channel width, or are there alternatives, and do I need to measure the channel before ordering?
I know I’ll need to measure the overall length and width of the sheet required- it’s just the channel width I’m querying because they’ll have to interlock with the sheets either side.
Thanks in advance
