Mechanical Timer Slowdown on Vailant Boiler

Hi All

My parent are noticing a problem on their Vailant boiler mechanical timer.

We keep correcting the clock, but everyday it seems to lose about 1-2 hours in time.

Any idea what could be causing this? or is it most likely just a failed clock that needs replacement?

The motor in it is getting tired. You need a new one.
