Woundering if anybody could help.
I'm considering setting up a home network system and thinking about the set up.
i'm buying a 60" lcd tv for the living room which i'll link to a hp mediasmart connect system. This will link with a HP mediasmart server which will be linked to a PC and router which will be upstairs. In the dinning room i want a HP touchsmart IQ506 pc. Will this mean i can download all music and films onto the server and view these on my tv down stairs wirlessly and on my pc in the dinning room. Is there better equipment out there for the same cost. The mediasmart connect will cost £200, the mediasmart server about £500 & the IQ506 about £1200, TV about £2000 all totalling £4000.
One other problem, got to pass this by the wife thats another question for another day.
