megaflo element replacement

DD 210 megaflo HE needs a new lower element
do i have to drain the system down?
it looks quite straightforward
am i in danger of doing any serious damage?
any advice please

yes its an unvented cylinder and unless you are G3 qualified you can not do it im afraid and if you were G3 you wouldnt be asking , sorry
 
I have no qualifications ,just a keen DIY
I did it before a few years ago
But have seen a few videos on youtube that made me stop and think
How dangerous could it be

my family came from Wishaw many years ago
great pies and square sausage!!!!

Don't touch it mate get a qualified plumber these things can be very dangerous if messed with and I've seen the aftermath. Bob
