Megaflow?

Hey guys, just wondering if you could help me identify something. My grandparent has a megaflow water tank i her house and I was just wondering which is the main water incomer, is it the pipe that comes up the side and goes into the top or is it the one that is at the bottom and goes in the side and has a red and blue label with an on/off valve? Thanks.
 
Inlet is low down.

However, you should not be doing anything to the controls as this unit can be dangerous and needs a qualified person.
