Megane 2 door courtesy light playing up, can't find door switches am I blind or is there a trick way they do it ?

It's a design feature to prevent you from being able to see the awful interior.

Newer models have the light switch incorporated in the door lock.
It would be unlikely for both switches to fail, so does one of the doors make the interior lamp behave?

Yes switch is somewhere inside the door latch module proved the fault to there, had a go at taking module apart but not sure I could get it back together again successfully so put it all back, might just kill the signal wire to stop the light being on all the time (Flat battery and cant lock car)
