Hi all

I'm considering buying one of these, does anyone have any thoughts as to whether it's a good instrument or not.

Regards
Martin

Megger (formerly known as AVO) is at the better end of the market, from past experience their tech support is excellent. My opinion is that although I don't own that particular tester, you can't go far wrong with the likes of Megger or Fluke/Robin. If I was looking to buy, these would be at the top of the list.

Hi,

ive got the 1502 and consider it to be a top tester. really easy to use and has some nice features and safety aspects.

i had a play with the fluke's and alphateks but found this to be the best one.

pretty cheap aswell compared to others for what you get.

got mine for £550.

Thanks Spark123 & industryspark for your replies, I was quite impressed with it myself, youv'e confirmed my thoughts. I've been offered it at £614 inc VAT, from that well known firm that isn't in a town or village, I suspect i can do better.

Thanks for your help

regards
Martin

might be worth shopping around on the net, im sure you'll beat that price.

top tester though, cant fault it.
