Hi all,

I'm planning on building a timber stud wall close up to an external stone wall and would like to attach a membrane to the back of it, partly to hold the stud insulation in place.
But how? As in, how would I staple the membrane to the stud work when I can't get behind the wall??

Thanks!

Build the stud wall on the floor as a frame, cover the rear then lift up into place and secure

Make a timber frame.
Fix membrane to back off it so will be against wall.
Lift frame up and screw to wall.
Add more timber if required for cross pieces.
Fill wall sections with something like kings span insulation.

Edit. As above wrote
