As part of the Plumbworld bathrrom suite, it was supplied with a Merano Thermostatic Dual Square Bar Mixer Shower. Pretty rubbish to be honest but it serves a purpose. Anyway the thermostat has given up the ghost - poor flow or running cold. Ive taken the adjusting handle off and played aound with the regulator but to no avail.
Anyway I have tried to remove the thermostat but when you try unscrewing it it simply moves around and doesnt slacken. Ive read on here about a special tool to remove it. Is that correct or is there a knack to it? And if you do remove it has anyone a suggestion for a replacement thermostat.
It might be simpler to replace the whole unit to be honest but this is a starter.
