I need to refurbish some metal-framed, casement-style, basement windows. I think I want to remove the clips holding the glass, remove the glass, somehow sand or otherwise prepare the flat metal surfaces, paint the metal with some kind of metal-preserving paint, and replace the glass. Does anyone have advice on the sanding and painting aspects? Thanks!
