Metal door frames?!

Good Morning,

Im in the process of decorating my flat and have found that it has metal door frames! I have stripped the old paint off (about ten layers) and would like to repaint them. Could someone give me advice in to how to go about painting them so that i get the best finish.

What type of metal is it ?

I think it may be steel?

It's an ex council flat and all of the door frames are metal.

i.e dulux etc

For best results buy "Dulux Trade Oil Based Undercoat" & "Dulux Trade High Gloss."
