Hello

I bought some acoustic plasterboard, its quite heavy (around 23kg per sheet). The instructions said to use 65mm metal nail ins. I ordered these from a seller on ebay and they sent me the wrong thing, they sent me metal ceiling anchors. My question is, will the ceiling anchors they sent me do the same thing and achieve the same result? Or are the nail in's stronger etc?

The reason im asking is because the house is due to get plastered on monday so I need to get these boards up tomorrow!

I can't find any in stock in any local hardware store or builders merchants.

This is a picture of the ceiling anchor they wrongly sent me:

This is the metal nail in that the manufacturer of the soundboard recommends:

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What is the rating of the anchors you've got and what are you attaching too?

Why not just use plaster board screws i we just use 35mm collated in the screw gun but you can use single screws, they will be fine even on fireboard which is 30.7kg.

You could always let the guys who are plastering put the boards up.
