Metal Sash Window Balances

My aluminium vertical sliding sash windows have a removable balance, with a spring, pulleys and nylon cord. Like this

I have been getting replacement balances from the U.S. as unable to find a UK supplier. Has anyone else had any luck?

Also, I can get repair parts, but they come with rivets to hold the pulleys into the 5/8" aluminium channel - is there a tool that will rivet over the heads?

Those are spiral balances, mine are "Block & Tackle", different sort of thing, I don't think they can be made to fit
