I am thinking about installing an outside tap.
Problem is i live in a terrace house with all the water supply at the front.

I was thinking about using the mains supply in the attic supplying the cold water tank and running a pipe from it,outside via the eaves and down the back wall.

I'm not sure about what type of pipe to use and was considering using microbore as it would be able to be concealed a bit better than any of the others.

Can anyone advise if i would get a reasonable flow and if this would be suitable or if anyone else has used this method.

cheers

bad idea, not to mention in winter it would freeze and split

If you run microbore I am certain a hosepipe connected on the end would be almost useless unless you have extremely high water pressure and high flowrate.

If you want to take this route, use 15mm speedfit plastic pipe. As long as you remember to drain it down in winter and foam lag the pipe you should be ok.
