Fitting outside tap

Hi all this is my first post i am going to be fitting an outside tap and my boiler room if next to my back door, there is a water supply going into boiler with the water loop to top up water in boiler coming off that supply i was wondering if it would be ok to get the supply for outside tap from that pipe before the loop , or would it effect the boiler in anyway ? wasnt sure if boiler would be using that water all the time etc? any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes not a problem.
make sure you fit an isolation valve and double check valve for the outside tap.
