Outside tap position

Hi,

I want to fit an outside tap. The water pipe comes in from through the garage before getting to the CH boiler and taps. What I want to know is if I can position a tap before the boiler and rest of the house supply or will this cause contention and lack of pressure for the boiler (Combi)?

That'll be fine unless your water pressure is really low.
