I think what you're trying to do is fine in theory but a pain in practice. Couldn't you just put isolating valves on the 22mm pipe connections and isolate all rads together?

What I quoted - you saying there were 2 manifolds.
Lol that would def be the easiest route,but i thought this way i could play with 1 rad and pipe work at my leasure without wife going mental about the cold as other rads would not be working.So thought in the long run this would work out lots less stressfull lol
