Hi,
I've got a micorbore system and whish to replace the radiators. Can i come off the 22mm pipe with normal 15mm and run them to the new rad?

i.e. can i do away with my microbore and have a normal flow/return system with no manifold etc?

any help would be greatly appreciated,

cheers

Why not just re-pipe the whole lot ,run as much as possible in 22 mm ,helps with balancing the system, tee off to rads in 15mm don,t forget to fit drain off cocks. Use a chemical cleanser(fernox, sentinel etc;)on completion ,then add inhibitor.

Keith.

would i be able to t-off the existing 22mm?

appologies for being useless, first house, first lesson in plumbing.

cheers for your help

No reason why not, just make sure you give the system a damned good clean as suggested in previous post .Full repipe was purely apersonal preference . It,s up to you to decide!
