Microsoft Publisher

hi all.
can anyone please tell me where i can download microsoft publisher for free.
i googled in on the net and had a few links but as i am a bit worried that some of these links might not be genuine ie virus ect.
has anyone downloaded it for free and not had any problems with the software?
sorry times are tough and i just cant afford to pay for it.thanks.

AFAIK you cannot download MS Publisher for free - it is not Shareware Freeware or any other 'ware. If you are looking on sites that say it is then I suspect they are questionable to say the least.

You can however download a free trial version from many sites including MS direct

I believe that the trial period will be around 30-60 days of use then will expire.

You could try ebay for a cheap genuine version?
