Microstation CAD

A question really aimed at engineering folk.

I'd like to know if Microstation is as good / as fluid Autocad for 2D work ?

It worked as well the last time I used it, though now I’m using Revit. If you think you are going to end up having to go BIM then (IMO) I think Revit will win through.
