Just leave that expansion vessel in and add another anywhere in the system pipework .... Assuming you can find some space for it!
It will save you a few bob + a lot of hassle
 
when you say "anywhere in the system" could i put it on one of the pipe going into/out-of the rads. ???

Yes. It can go anywhere in the system but I would say it is better practice to connect to at least 15mm pipe if possible. Normally the expansion vessel needs to be no smaller than the one currently in your combi.
