Miele C1 S2000 Mystery Part ID?

I've been fixing my Miele C1 S2000 vacuum cleaner and all's gone well but I have one small part left. I have no idea where it goes, what it is or where/how to put it back...
As you can see it's:
-Plastic
-White
-About 5cm tall, 2,5cm wide, v-shaped.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Thought so too, but we haven’t found any wheel to go with it, so it’s even more confusing...

does it prevent the cable retracting onto its spool? If so it would locate under the cable retract pedal.

Solved!

It goes under/inbetween the foot pedals for power and cable, acts as a little spring so when you push the foot pedal down it goes down evenly and not just on one side.
