Miele novotronic premier plus not spinning

Hello. I have a Miele Novotronic Premier Plus washing machine that this morning stopped spinning whilst washing the children’s school uniforms. Have put on separate spin cycle. It drains but then when meant to spin it cuts out for 10-15 seconds then drains again. It turns the drum when draining, just not spinning. Have checked the filters, all clear. Put it on as an empty load and still not spinning. My machine is now 22 years old but really don’t want to buy a new one. Any help/suggestions greatly received please. Kelly.

Check the belt for wear and/or slipping, and check the motor brushes chances are they are worn after 20 years and need replacing

Thanks everyone. Turns out it was the wall socket faulty. Changed n all working again.
