Miele 844 washing machine pump keep running

The drain pump on our Miele washing machine keeps running continuously after the machine has completed it's wash/rinse/spin cycle, although the drum has been drained and is empty of water.

I have cleaned the drain hose, syphon, and the hoses either side of the pump, and cleaned out any scale/gunk build up. I have also checked the filter and the impeller itself and all is OK.

The main wash/rinse/spin cycles complete as normal, it's just at the very end that the problem occurs. Any ideas?

Have you checked the pressure pot (long tube that comes from the front of the machine if you give me the model number i can have a better idea of the machine and what way the pumps power
