Miele top loader wm/c leak from vent.

We have a miele W794 top loader. This has a vent of some sort on the rear face on the left about 6 inches from the top. It's about 1 inch dia. Recently this has started to dribble water when doing a rinse (we think it's only then). Does anyone have any idea what's happening and what the cure might be?
