My Miele W1113 recently started making A LOT of noise when it is spinning. It doesn't matter whether it is in the wash mode or spin cycle. It is making a lot more noise and sounds like something might be rubbing.
I am very handy but not sure what this might be or whether I should try and investigate the sound and attempt the repair. The only thing I have done is clean the filter at the bottom left of the machine. That was clear.
The unit is level, with the Miele dryer stacked on top of it. The unit is about 7 years old and has never had service prior to this.
